Why are kiwis endangerd?

 Why are kiwis endangered?

• Predators such as weasels, rats, possums, cats and dogs kill the big kiwis & eat the eggs or baby kiwis. It has dramatically increased the number of kiwis.

• kiwis have lost their homes & habitat because of the cleaner of nativ bush for towns & houses. So kiwis won't have a safe home to lay their eggs in.

• when people go on a bush walk they may take their dogs & sometimes people don't mean to but they walk on a kiwis nest & that will smash the nest. If they let their dogs off & the dogs run into a kiwis nest they will dig the nest up and eat the kiwis.

Holiday Highlights

 first of all in the holidays me and my nana had a girls day first we went to the library in Gisborne i I got three books then we went two the pet store I got to choose two guinea pigs my one is light brown dark brown and white my cousins one is light brown and dark brown. My guinea pig is called buddy and my cousins one is called frank #she named it and she is three. then we loaded up the furry friends and we did some chors in town like get a lotto ticket. 

then we went to my house when we got home i unloaded the guinea pigs. I got to play with them for about half a hour then my friend came so i said good bye to my guinea pigs and my nana and then said hello to my friend. Me and my friend went to our special tree to catch up on each others live. about an hour later we went in to our the sleep out were we were going to sleep we got out our schleich and we played for about 2 hours. Then i started to fell sick so said to lawn. went inside and said 'mum Dee i spewed on Lorne' So mum said for me and Jess to sleep inside and she also said we can watch a movie so we did. In the morning me and Jess got up and went and got my rabbit we played with him for about a hour then we went and let out my animals and then Jess is mum came to pick here up.

Reflection Term 2

Famers Air

Last week on Friday we went to Famers Air and we learnt about planes and then we had to write a thank you letter to hoags and make a slide my buddy was Ramin.

My Mum's Poem

This week we made a Mothers Day poem for our mums.  We had to do it on paper, then copy it on to our Chromebook. Then we got to give it a background and change the font.

On Friday our mums came in and we made them a coffee or a tea and I played Cards Against Humanity with my mum.

It was so fun😆😝😍
